JH Sayyar's Sonnets

210
Sweet rose avoid using the “word” hate,
Its blazing heat burns your natural grace,
And you do lose your present state,
Does make out quickly your pretty case
First you use it for my willful emotions,
After this you how many times in a day,
This vile word for injuring all my notions,
But for those who for your beauties pay
Love and hate can’t walk side by side,
As the bull and bear can’t run a race,
Do love or hate choose one to guide,
My love to right way or send to base

I see love reflections in the raging eyes,
Touching the mind your naval force cries.
