JH Sayyar's Sonnets

220
Today I miss you today's weather is fine,
Cool breeze blowing touching my cheeks,
Your dim memory on my mind does shine,
That is why your face today my soul seeks.
You leave me forever like a dust storm,
I feel your presence in my heart and soul,
Your love does teach me in love to roam,
Now you live in my sad and sunken hole.
Every comely sight reminds of your face,
That makes my sad heart like a foster child,
Or like the racer who does loose the race,
Or like the little babe whose mother is wild.

Every morning my Rose I do hope to meet,
Your waiting is more bitter and less sweet.
