JH Sayyar's Sonnets

128
Reason controls all its child is muse,
Teach the child first how to use reason,
Like those children sitting on the pews
If you do not teach it makes treason,
Beyond the reason the matter of love,
The child with his mother can’t follow it,
You are green in love O pretty kid-glove,
I think O Fair love is beyond your wit.
True love sings a song forever O Fair,
Your love sweeter than the honey dew,
Therefore the Cupid’s eyes at you stare,
Ah! True lovers on this earth are a few.

The hands write these verses never die,
The tongue does spread the words will fly.
