JH Sayyar's Sonnets

143
When I see myself in the mirror of past,
I see the blunders shining like the stars,
No way to mend them thinking this aghast,
Lying at my feet as the dead in the wars
The past losses follow not you till death,
If no past the future seems to be dark,
And do go with us when flies our breath,
When the sensibility-fuse and soul spark
Do peep behind the past tells you more,
Your mistress’s blunders, errors and laps,
How many we mend knowingly or ignore,
If we do the same our ago tombs collapse

Have trust in self is the root of universe,
I write this secret for wise men in verse.
