What I've done wrong to you, you turn,
Your pretty face from my innocent eyes,
I am thoughtful to you my Rose I learn,
To write from your cunning I do surprise.
Your beauty does teach me how to write,
Good and meaningful words for my rimes,
My musical words attract inhuman sight,
How forceful my thoughts prove pen crimes.
My potent captured spirits taught me to write,
One invents my word the other sharpens wit,
The third knits the sentences for me all night,
The fourth make me write when I do feel fit.
At every step wise man improves reason,
But I my life skill does put into word prison.
