JH Sayyar's Sonnets

124
I do wait all nights for your pretty call,
I do not sleep all night counts the stars,
Gazing in your eyes since your crawl
With your hateful love my beauty mars,
I want to see you moving before me
I do know you look a speck far away,
You want separation like a leaf of tree,
Forever you be young I to God do pray.
If I find you not your false promise keeps,
Me forever young to face weal and woe,
You see in vision when my heart weeps,
Then say with weeping eyes I was true.

Never trust in woman’s promise is a whore,
Her under waste lays hell’s opening door.
