JH Sayyar's Sonnets

231
If I compare you to a light frisking sparrow,
You are lighter and more and more agile,
Your flexible limbs bend like a hunter arrow,
But you me everyday O Lady does beguile,
Sometime your cruel eyes more to me kind,
But saucy cheeks do reflect your tender heart,
But who do you hide your cruel nature behind?
It is your gentle nature thoughtful eyes pin part,
But your internal beauty will never, never fade,
Yea! Nor you will lose your kind beauty gift,
Nor will touch any evil eye your beauty shade,
Nor you will get in life, O Lady and type of rift,

You will enjoy fame as well as the world does exist,
An never changes your beauty fumes in earthly mist
