JH Sayyar's Sonnets

236
Nicely painted beauty more cunning than a nicer face,
Lie plant growing in heart, and will and wishes impart,
Cunning traps for the lovers’ eyes adds more grace,
In your beauty, more ugly see in your glass of heart,
When you your painted beauty O Lady others deceive,
Drenches on your face reveal past on your glassy skin,
Common eyes cannot see it but my eyes do perceive,
Micro and macro reflecting all doings in my poetry, sin,
I do see all through the window of my wary soul,
The motion of will and wishes revealing in greedy lake,
Law sanction not to harry the flying larks in dale,
Your pretty tricks and cunning for lovers’ hemisphere,

You cannot hide O Lady your see through cute face,
Expresses every printed trick yours in dark embrace
