JH Sayyar's Sonnets

225
My Swam has gone to sleep on her soft bed,
I all alone sitting in window heavy rain falling;
I see her face in vision and I myself to said,
She slept like dead why are you her calling
Then an echo comes out of my poor heart
Who listens to my voice in sleep thunder noise?
My Swan has slept turning turtle my love cart,
But happy, forever happy my heavenly choice,
If you were me you do see my sweet Swan,
How your lover spends night with weeping eyes;
Counts the night stars waiting for the dawn.
And all night the birds listen to my hear cries.

O my Cupid, awake, see what does silence expose?
Darkness: love soul, you leaving me O happy rose
