JH Sayyar's Sonnets

470
Come I tell you a secret how to keep secret a secret
Tell not your secrets to others all will laugh at you
None shares your grief when fall in fever and fret
Do not put pearls before the swine cause a lot of woe
I kept your holy love in my heart but you expose it
As a winter beaten women exposes self on the shore
You give the holy thing to the unholy wights in a fit
Come and look at my sorrows wail and woe more
Yes our love makes unholy greedy and jealous eyes
Disunites our beings and kind heart from the center
My love dies in the heart listening to the fate cries
Alas your emotions prove for you, your bad mentor

Exposing secret gives grief but secrecy prolongs joys
As at home and out of home the kids make happy toys
